Chev Chelios works as an assassin, he lives in Los Angeles and works for the world-famous syndicate headed by Don Carlos. The Englishman was given a special task, he had to kill the main mafia Don Kim in the shortest possible time. After receiving instructions, he goes to the case, which he successfully completes. But not everything was so smooth and simple in this conceived story, in fact, Carlos decided to remove Chelios in order to divert the revenge of the Triad from himself, who would not have left such a crime unpunished. The main instigator of Chew's death was Ricky Verona, who managed to convince Carlito to remove the participant they did not need. Verona will take over the murder, and then he will take the place of the English criminal he eliminated and become Carlos' right hand.

After completing the task, Chelios was peacefully resting at home when Verona and his accomplices entered the room. They imperceptibly introduce an improved synthetic drug that causes a decline in adrenaline in the body. The lack of a vital hormone can lead to death, because it greatly affects the work of the heart. Waking up, the main character finds a video where Verona tells in detail about what he injected him with and how this remedy will slowly kill him. Realizing that there is too little time left, Chev immediately contacts a mafia doctor, who advises him to constantly maintain a high level of adrenaline. To do this, the mercenary will have to test himself on all kinds of extreme actions, from which the blood will simply freeze in his veins. To get rid of the acquired misfortune, it is necessary to find an antidote, so in order to solve his problem, he goes to Carlito. Here he gets a lot of answers to his questions, and learns about the truth, which is not entirely pleasant for him, about the betrayal and greed of his boss.
