Events begin with attempt to assassinate the president of America. The X-Men accuse of all Mag, but Xavier stands up for the former friend. At the same time in the White House the future of school of professor Xavier is discussed. The president becomes on protection of mutants and does not grant permission for their elimination. So far Mag seeks in any ways for capture of the whole world, and professor Xavier fights for the rights of the wards, the new enemy - William Stryker appears.
