Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (2001)

Life did not hurry to indulge the orphan Harry Potter whose parents died when he was still a baby. Up to 11 years the boy lived in the storeroom under a ladder in the house of the aunt Petunyi and the uncle Vernon. Dursley worshipped the whimsical son Dudley, executing any his whim, and the nephew treated worse, than servants. The cousin did not miss an opportunity to mock at Harry, and trustees punished for the slightest fault. Everything changed when on a threshold appeared the strange envelope addressed to Harry. Our hero never received letters, and he did not manage to read it. The next several days to Tisovaya Street were flown owls about all new messages which the uncle, even without opening, sent to a fireplace and when in absolutely impossible way the never-ending flow of correspondence directed to the house through a flue, Dursley decided to run.

Precisely on a birthday of Harry the family moved to the beacon blown by all winds on the unapproachable island, but also there they did not manage to hide of the future. One night the entrance door flew from loops, and on a threshold the real giant by the name of Hagrid appeared. He wished our hero happy birthday, presented cake and told something unimaginable. It turned out that the boy, as well as his died parents, - the wizard. And in the nearest future it has to begin training at the first year of school of magic. Hagrid took away Harry from the island and opened before it pass on a magic wrong side of London. There the boy also learned that he is famous.

When our hero was still a baby, cruel Voldemort whose name cannot be told at all tried to kill him. In a fight with the sorcerer his parents died, but the boy survived and some mysteriously destroyed the attacker. For the memory of that fight on a forehead our hero had scar in the form of a lightning thanks to which all recognize him. And it is not all secrets which should be opened for young Potter and his new friends Ron and Hermione.
