The American (2010)

Jack was considered an experienced contract killer. He had his beloved girlfriend Ingrid, with whom he rested, having come to a secluded place. They were inside a house in a Swiss forest. Once they went for a walk next to a frozen lake. When she was walking, Jack managed to notice several footprints on the surface of the snow. Therefore, he tried to hide Ingrid in the shelter behind boulders. Suddenly the shooting started. Jack had to shoot back, too. Soon the shooter was killed and Jack started searching him. The man demanded that Ingrid return to the house. She needs to call the police on the phone. But when she passed by him, he killed her. After that, the American set off in the direction of Rome.

When he arrived in Rome, he met Pavel, his boss. He said that in the territory of this city, Jack is surrounded by danger. Therefore, he ordered him to go into hiding for now and go to a not very big city in Italy, which is called Castelvecchio. Jack had to go in that direction. However, on the road, he decided to hide all his tracks. Pavel gave him the phone, which the main character threw away. Then the man pretended to be photographer Edward. He went to the town of Casteldel Monte, which was located in the Abruzzo mountains.
