Seven Pounds (2008)

Tim Thomas gets into a serious car accident, in which seven people die. One of the victims was his girlfriend, whom he loved madly and was preparing for a serious relationship with her. For him, it became a nightmarish tragedy, the life of the main character is broken, he quits his job at the engineering space station, because he no longer sees any opportunity to realize himself in it. In order for the pain to subside, he decides to give part of the lung to his brother, after another six months, part of the liver to a practically unknown person. So he starts looking for people who need donor organs, and subsequently parts with a kidney for a trainer and bone marrow for a boy struggling with a serious illness.

Tim has already decided on his future, and has definitely decided that his life will end soon, he gives himself two weeks to find candidates for the rest of the bodies. Before that, he decides to rewrite his posh house by the ocean, to a woman with children suffering from violence from a roommate. Once again, when a man beats her, she gets the keys to the house and immediately goes to a new place, where now she will be able to start a new life. Now it remains to check only the following candidates who need help, but will give organs only to those who are truly worthy of them.
